Eleni Gkikakis
I have been inspired by my communication with animals and transformative experiences through Nature my entire life.
My ability to act as an intuitive bridge between humanity, animals, and the rest of Nature began with my first spoken words β a conversation with the flowers in my family garden.
My path to making this work the focus of my life was a winding one. I earned a B.Sc(Hons) degree in Mass Communication and Media Arts from Southern Illinois University, USA, specializing in marketing and advertising. When I returned to Greece, I spent years furthering the goals of well-known global companies: Citibank, Unilever, Kimberly-Clark, Shell, Warner Lambert, Audi, British Airways and many other multinational clients.
I was climbing higher and higher on the career ladder but found myself personally unfulfilled. This dissatisfaction, coupled with a personal loss, reawakened my slumbering intuition and brought me back to animals and nature.
After leaving the corporate world, I began deepening my practice of intuitive communication with domestic and wild animals, who I see as symbolic representatives and a reminder of our forgotten connection with Mother Nature.
During my successful efforts to save my horseβs life against all traditional medical predictions, I became disheartened and disenchanted by the modern practices of treating animals, and health in general. Lily made a full recovery and recently celebrated her 28th birthday! Here is a video of her 25th birthday in 2018.
By following the teachings and practices of holistic veterinarians, herbalists, homeopaths, and holistic nutritionists, I studied towards a Diploma in Veterinary Homeopathy.
I count as mentors and teachers the holistic veterinarians Dr. Will Falconer and the late Juliette De Bairacli Levy, as well as world-renowned interspecies communicator Anna Breytenbach and animal communicators Penelope Smith, Wynter Worsthorne, and Marta Williams.
I underwent training in Native American (mainly Lakota and Cherokee) shamanic healing and ceremonial practices and was guided in Vision Quest three times.
As a lifelong sacred activist and advocate for animal welfare and natural care, I am now actively involved in numerous conservation projects in Africa, such as the Global White Lion Protection Trust, Animal Spirit, The Jane Goodall Institute, the Linda Tucker Foundation, and independent peacemaking groups such as L.I.O.N. (Love Is Our Nature).
In 2019, I graduated from the Academy for LionHearted Leadership, igniting my desire to set up the Interspecies Peace Foundation, to encourage and assist others on their own journeys for interspecies peace.
Gratitude
I wish to acknowledge and express my deep gratitude to all the light beings in my life, for their unlimited love and support in realizing the dream of Interspecies Peace, including my ancestors, my family, friends, colleagues, teachers, mentors. And of my spirit and animal guides who have supported me on this journey.
